TRAFFIC SIGNS CHAOS AT BEECH AVE 7 SYRINGA PL., FLUSHING, NY

An the Beat goes on at Beech Ave & Syringa Place in Flushing, NY.
a "one way sign was installed on a WOODEN POST on Beech ave on 6/7/11. Chanel 11 was gracious enough to do the final airing. That's what I thought! Because the sign was installed in the same old location, the problem is still on-going .  The last vehicle parked on Beech Ave still does not know which way to go.  Today 6/14/11 last vehicle was facing the wrong way.

By chance I was in the area when a traffic car was approaching and the two people in the vehicle were discussing the intersection.  I approach and identified myself as the person that started the petitions. We discussed the location of the new sign.  We, all three agreed that a) the sign should not be posted on that WOOD post b) the sign should be at the end of beech Ave with the crosswalk which separates Beech Ave from Syringa Pl which is a Thursday cleaning street.  As it is right now last vehicle parked on Beech Ave looks as if belong to Syringa due to where the sign was hung!  LOL, what to do but call the media again since that vehicle is facing the wrong way and will be ticketed for "facing the wrong way.  So here we are again at the beginning of the problem.  The good news is that the person I was speaking with is the Area Traffic enforcement Supervisor.  Sorry I did not get his name.
